 DUE TO the diversification and complexities of the modern business world, in recent years corporate partnering has become an effective way to maintain corporate identity, save money, and increase productivity.
To further its interests, the Institute has formed dynamic partnerships with Milkhaus Laboratory, Inc. (MLI), and Milkhaus Veterinary Products, Inc. (MVI). MLI and MVI have similar discovery and early-stage development profiles which are referenced in About the Institute. The Institute and these two companies operate in an independent, but complementary, manner, having separate management teams and Boards of Directors.
These strategic alliances enable each company to aggressively pursue its own mission while assisting the others to realize success. In turn, these partnerships significantly enhance the shared quest of delivering to the marketplace a wide range of effective therapeutic agents that have few, if any, adverse side effects.
Moreover, these partnerships increase the options for funding. Whereas a contributor may wish to help promote the goals of the not-for-profit Institute, investors looking for a return on investment will find suitable opportunities with the for-profits MLI and MVI.
The Institute also remains committed to working with pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and biotech companies, government agencies, and private organizations by collaborating on a project-by-project basis. In so doing, the Institute strives to accelerate medical and scientific knowledge as it discovers and evaluates new therapeutics.
